The Challenge
Founder Simon Jones approached The Word Agency with the objective of creating a scalable brand and programme that he could launch across multiple UK locations, including Leeds and West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and perhaps even nationally in the future.
The Solution
Our team developed a suite of new tools for Top 30 Under 30 showcasing the energy, quality and value of the experience provided to both winners on the program but also to partners.
Activity included:
- A new website making it easier for businesses to nominate their talented team and partners to get involved in the programme.
- A range of creative materials including an event brochure, sponsorship and nomination pack and physical trophy which could easily be adapted when launching into a new region.
- Paid digital advertising targeting owners, directors, and HR professionals in a new launch region to build awareness and interest.
The Outcome
Now in its second year, our partnership with Top 30 Under 30 has flourished, with the programme achieving remarkable growth. Simon has experienced even greater success in East Yorkshire, the birthplace of 30 Under 30.
This year marked a successful launch in Leeds and West Yorkshire, culminating in an impressive celebration event at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, showcasing just how extraordinary the programme has become.
Over 700 people attended the celebration evenings across Hull and East Yorkshire and Leeds and West Yorkshire.
Looking ahead to 2025, South Yorkshire is set to be the next destination for this initiative, with Simon already envisioning even greater achievements on the horizon.
It was amazing that in recognition of the work we have done, Simon surprised us by putting our name up in lights at the events as an event partner. We’ve loved working in collaboration with Simon and his team and such is the quality of the programme they delivery, the biggest brands in the region as well as national broadcaster Channel 4, international banks and more choose to get involved!
